Pet of the Month! Daisy Petersen is not only one of our many favorite patients, she is an outstanding therapy dog too! Daisy is a member of the Canine Therapy Corps program at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Each week the dogs meet with patients there whose diagnoses may include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, amputation, burns, stroke, or any combination of these. By working with these therapy dogs patients recover stronger and faster. Check them out today at www.caninetherapycorps.com! Great job Daisy!
